Aspirin Prevent Liver Damage

The researchers from Yale University found, aspirin can prevent liver damage caused by alcohol and paracetamol.

They find this by conducting experiments on mice. Mice that are given too much acetaminophen, paracetamol in the womb active, have the possibility of smaller die if they are given aspirin in small doses.

According to the researchers, working with aspirin to block reseptor chemical substances in liver cells that trigger inflammation response.

They isolate a specific molecule-molecule, called TLR antagonist, which can also block reseptor this, but because the price of aspirin is cheaper, the aspirin can be an effective therapy.

Dr. Wajahat Mehal, the leader of the study, said many agents such as drugs and alcohol can damage the liver, and they have found 2 ways to block the road on the causes of liver injury.

"Our strategy is to use aspirin daily to prevent liver injury, but if the injury occurred, the TLR antagonist is used to address them."

According Mehal, this invention offers the possibility to reduce the pain and suffering of patients suffering from liver disease with a new and practical.
